Staying Current
Use it or lose it!Beyond helping you learn to fly, WardAir is passionately committed to keeping you current, recent and active as a pilot.
Flight reviews and proficiency checks are needed on a regular basis to enable you to continue to exercise the privileges of your licence and certain ratings/endorsements that you may hold. We can provide instructors/examiners to undertake biennial flight reviews and proficiency checks whether at Bathurst or at your location, in our aircraft or in your own.
But don’t wait until your flight review is due to get back in form! One of the best ways to stay current is to fly with different pilots and instructors and to learn from those around you. At WardAir we organise flying trips, outings and pilot gatherings to focus on skills that need refreshing or updating. Whether you want to join in a group event or have some individual retraining on a particular aspect of your flying, we can help you.
Refresher Training – the fun way!
Nothing will keep you safer as a pilot than flying regularly and continuing to learn. Call us at WardAir to arrange a refresher flight to brush up on any aspect of your flying that is at risk of getting rusty. Here are just some ideas for refresher training that you might want to consider:
- Controlled airspace (Sydney Basin, Canberra)
- Navigating military airspace (Richmond, Nowra, Tamworth, Williamtown)
- Navigation practice
- Night flying
- Cross-wind circuits
- ALA / non-controlled aerodrome procedures
